The Clean of Hearts Housekeeping Services Terms of Use

The following Terms of Use is a legal contract between an individual user and The Clean of Hearts Housekeeping Services defining the rules and acceptable behavior of your website and services.

Introduction

Please read these terms of use carefully. By accessing this site or using any services, you acknowledge that you understand, agree, and are bound by these terms.

 

The Clean Guarantee 

My goal after completing any service for a client is 100% satisfaction, enjoying the essence of a Royal touch. However, occasionally a task may be overlooked or missed. In any case, big or small, if ANYTHING discussed was incomplete or unsatisfactory, reach out by phone or email and I will return for a re-clean of that area(s) within 48 hours. Aiming for the highest quality is the pride of my business; therefore when I fall short it's not only courtesy, but my duty to deliver that standard.

Booking Notice

As of December 1st, 2023, I require a 4-week advance booking notice for any service desired. This does NOT include receiving a free quote/estimate. If I am available within 2-5 business day of your call to give an estimate, I will always do my best, but there is no guarantee.

Infestation/Illness

The Clean of Hearts is a very understanding, judgment free zone, and eagerly here to help: however I cannot help you if it means extending risk to my other clients, or my own household. If there is an infestation of any kind, appropriate treatment must be acquired before I can start attending to that space. Depending on the infestation, a pause of the infected area for a minimum of 1 month will be implemented.

If there are members of the household that are sick with common colds or fevers, I will still come clean the common areas of the home while the 'infected' person stays at least 6 ft away. If there are members that have a virus (INCLUDING stomach bugs, COVID, flu, RSV), symptoms must be gone for at least 48 hours before my return into the household.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

In an ideal world, we all make our schedules and attend everything with punctuality. But, we know this is not always the case-things come up, emergencies occur, and illness can cause pauses. If for any reason you need to reschedule or cancel your service, it must be done with 24 hours notice, or your 25% deposit cannot be refunded. There is no penalty for rescheduling; if you need to reschedule, your 25% deposit will transfer over to the rescheduled clean. However, if you cancel a scheduled appointment without rescheduling, not only will your 25% deposit not be returned, but you will no longer be able to book services after 2 occasions of this occurrence.

If you are a recurring client, and you have to cancel an appointment, you will be charged 50% of your average rate. If you reschedule before your already next scheduled service, this fee will not apply.

If you cancel 3 scheduled consecutive cleanings, you will be removed from the booking calendar, and service will be terminated. 

If for any reason I need to cancel or reschedule WITHOUT 24 hours notice, you will not only receive your 25% deposit back but you will also receive 25% off your next cleaning. If this happens 2 times, you will receive a FREE cleaning.

If you are a recurring client, and I have to cancel without 24 hours notice, and am unable to reschedule before your next scheduled service, you get 25% off your next service.  

Payment Procedure

All deposits are due prior to booking. Deposits can be made through Venmo, PayPal, and Square. I also accept checks.

Quotes DO NOT equal Invoice. A quote is just an ESTIMATE of how long a job will take. An invoice is the result of how long the job actually takes. Payment for any service completed is due IMMEDIATELY. If payment is not received within 24 hours, all future services will be suspended until payment is made. If payment is not made, you will be blacklisted.  

Health and Safety Disclaimer

I am NOT an extreme clean/hazardous cleaning service. If, for any reason, there are indicators of needing to outsource to other companies, our agreement will come to pause until such arrangements can be made. If there is suspect of domestic, child, animal, or elder abuse, I reserve the right as a mandate reporter to inform any and all appropriate authoritative parties. Any situation deemed too hazardous or unsafe for residents to live (or contractors to work) will be reported to any and all appropriate parties. 

Modification of Terms

At my discretion, The Clean of Hearts Housekeeping Services may edit, add, or remove any part(s) of this agreement at any time. If I do make changes to these Terms of Use, I will make a reasonable effort to provide notice.

Discounts Available

  • Veterans Discount: 15% off service with valid Military ID

  • Referral Discount: $25 off a service (valid for 90 days) when you refer a friend that books & completes a service (not a quote)!

 

Prohibited Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct while on our site, and agree to abide by all laws, contracts, intellectual property and third-party rights. The use of inappropriate language, sexual banter, or unauthorized display or reproduction of content available will be strictly prohibited.

 

Termination

The Clean of Hearts Housekeeping Services reserves the right to terminate access to the site, cease current service, and block future use of our services if these Terms of Use have been deemed violated.
